| Stained glass is a remarkable material for the stained glass artist, particularly for the variation of colors and textures available. Unfortunately, stained glass cannot be recycled in the traditional manner like jars and bottles. The chemistry of stained glass makes it incompatible with ordinary glass, and if mixed in with common recyclable glass, will destroy the entire batch. However, scrap stained glass can be reused in other interesting ways. It can be heat |
| formed and slumped, fused, cast or worked with a torch to create other objects of interest and value. Shown below are things we make using our scrap stained glass. These are always one of a kind, no two items are the same or will be duplicated. All glass is tested for compatibility and heat annealed in a digitally controlled kiln to eliminate cracking. |
